THEIR STORY
A Foundation Built on Compassion
In 1989, Swiss missionary Erwin Groebli came to Thailand and encountered a group of street children in Bangkok with no place to sleep, little food, and no one to care for them. Moved by compassion, he built a foundation around them. That year, the Baan Nokkamin Foundation was officially established and registered with Thailand’s Ministry of Interior.
Today, Baan Nokkamin operates 4 branches across Thailand, caring for children through dedicated foster families, married couples who live alongside up to 10 children, offering love, nurture, and stability as their own.
