A few years ago a customer named Chris reached out to us while working abroad. He wanted to propose to his girlfriend in Bangkok and he knew exactly what he felt — he just did not know how to put it into words she would keep forever.

We worked on it together. He wrote down everything and we helped him shape it — the phrasing, the structure, the tone. He wanted the message printed on the back of a photograph of the two of them, so he sent us the file, we designed it, and ran to the print shop ourselves to get it done in time.

She said yes. Weeks later both of them came into our shop and brought us gifts. We had completely forgotten the whole thing. That visit is why we obsess over every detail of what we do — because we never know which order is someone’s most important moment.

Our gift sets are built from two sources — products we create under our own brands, and outside partners we have chosen with the same standard we apply to everything else.

Victoria is our chocolate line. Our chocolatiers hand-craft every truffle, praline, and bonbon using Belgian couverture, with flavours that are entirely our own — Mango Sticky Rice, Raspberry Marc de Champagne, Coconut Passionfruit Sesame. Heritage is our brand for candles, silk, and leather — soy wax candles hand-poured by an expert who works with us, in packaging we designed and had manufactured ourselves. Wildleaf is our tea brand — we work with farmers in Chiang Rai to produce genuinely great tea, packed in tin jars with each portion vacuum-sealed to protect the aroma every time you open one. Sotma produces our macarons and patisserie. None of this is sourced with our label on it — it is made from our recipes with our name behind it.

For what we bring in from outside, the question is always the same: would we give this to someone we genuinely care about? That is how we chose Soap Opera for body care — natural, organic, properly made. If we would not give it to someone we love, it does not go in the box.
