Every Swedish child knows this cake. Johannes, our founder, grew up with the prinsesstårta at every birthday, every celebration, every occasion worth marking. When he brought UrbanFlowers to Bangkok, he was determined to share a piece of his home with Thailand. Our Swedish Princess Cake layers light vanilla génoise sponge with vibrant raspberry compote, silky vanilla custard, and a soft dome of whipped chantilly cream, all wrapped in smooth almond marzipan and crowned with a hand-crafted marzipan rose. What started as one founder’s favourite has become one of Bangkok’s most-loved birthday cakes.
The vanilla génoise is light enough to let every layer speak for itself, while the raspberry compote brings a brightness that balances the richness of the vanilla custard beautifully. The chantilly dome gives the cake its signature silhouette, and the almond marzipan wraps everything in a finish that is smooth, subtly sweet, and entirely its own. Where the classic wears green, ours arrives in rose pink, because some traditions deserve a fresh perspective.
Serving & Storage Best served at room temperature. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before serving. Store in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days.
